Waitlist Depth by Unit Size Worksheet

A single facility-wide waitlist number hides the problem. A facility might have forty names on the list and still leave a 10x20 empty for three weeks because thirty-eight of those names wanted a 10x10. This worksheet breaks the list down by unit size so you can see at a glance which queues are healthy, which are thin, and which are so deep that prospects are waiting long enough to go cold. Fill it in once a month, ideally on the same day you review occupancy.

The target depth column is meant to be filled from the Storage Waitlist Depth Planner at /tools/waitlist-depth-planner/, which uses your own move-out rate and alert conversion for each size. The rentals column is the number that matters most: it tells you whether the list is producing revenue or just collecting names. Where the active count is well below target, promote sign-ups for that size on the website and at the counter. Where it is well above target, check for stale entries before assuming demand is that strong. The rows below are typical size groups; rename or add rows to match your facility.
